Plan your visitAn immersion into one of the most foundational chapters in A.-L. Breguet’s work: the subscription watch. Conceived in the aftermath of the Revolution, this deliberately simple creation reflected Breguet’s desire to respond to a society in transformation and to new uses. Unique within his body of work, he personally explained its intentions, technical choices and philosophy in a printed document, deliberately adopting the perspective of his clients. It proved a success, with nearly 700 examples sold, most of them between 1798 and 1805, attracting a new clientele to the House of Breguet.
