Reine de Naples Phase de Lune 8909

This diamond-set model takes up a number of features of the first wristwatch.

Just like the original model, the Reine de Naples 8909 features a moon phase and a power reserve. Its off-centre hours chapter at 6 o’clock is made from silvered gold and its centre is set with brilliant-cut diamonds, as is its dial flange. The crown is also set with diamonds.

Complications

The power reserve indicator displays the remaining autonomy of the movement before it needs to be wound. It makes it possible to monitor the energy available in the barrel, while adding a direct mechanical reading to the dial.
The moon phase reproduces the progression of the lunar cycle on the dial. A complication that is both astronomical and decorative, it combines the reading of time with a poetic representation of the sky.

Arts and crafts
