The Magazine « Le Quai de l’Horloge N°6 » Now Available on App Store

Breguet unveils the 6th iPad edition of its corporate magazine “Le Quai de l’Horloge,” now available for download from the App Store.

This year, the House of Breguet offers readers a chance to get acquainted with the aesthetic codes which have given its watches unequal refinement and visual balance since 1775. This new release also lifts the veil on the use of silicon in watchmaking, a major technological innovation initiated by Breguet in 2006. An immersion into the universe of the Manufacture continues with the Double Tourbillon and Tourbillon Messidor through exclusive images putting forward the craftsmanship of Breguet’s artisans. “Le Quai de l’Horloge N°6” will as well seduce female readers, who will be able to learn more on the art of jewellery and setting. Two historical articles complement this digital magazine: the first one tackles the relationship between A.-L. Breguet and the Ottoman Empire, then represented in Paris by ambassador Esseid Ali Effendi, using interactive animations; the second pays tribute to the unique architecture of Place Vendôme, scene of the most elaborate celebrations of that time, a location which Breguet now calls home to one of the most emblematic Breguet boutiques and the brand’s first museum.
