On Wednesday 21st of January 2026, Breguet reached a defining milestone in the evolution of its Research & Development, laying the foundation stone of a building fully dedicated to research, in which the Maison will occupy an entire floor.

Conceived as a visionary laboratory, nestled at the heart of the microtechnology city, this future center is designed as a dynamic and vibrant place where scientific exploration continuously pushes the boundaries of innovation. Watchmakers, engineers and researchers will combine their expertise to expand the horizons of horological science.

Far more than a simple extension of existing capabilities, this project lays the foundations of a next-generation R&D hub, conceived as a place of convergence between watchmaking, advanced micromechanics, materials, processes and physical sciences. It will enable Breguet to sustainably strengthen its position as a reference in innovation, while developing technological advances.

The ambition is clear: to create an environment where exploratory research fuels long-term innovation, and where a deep understanding of physical phenomena precedes and guides the development of tomorrow’s solutions.

Through this project, Breguet reaffirms its commitment to long-term investment, to strengthening a culture of research, and to building the technological foundations that will shape R&D in the decades to come.
