Breguet organized a special event in Japan to mark the launch of the new timepieces in the Marine line unveiled at the beginning of the year. After a presentation of the history of this emblematic collection by Emmanuel Breguet, Vice President and true specialist of the House, guests were able to take part in a teleconference with the captain of the “Race for Water” vessel. The captain came back to the objectives of the odyssey and the impressive functions of this boat that is only powered by renewable energy. The attention turned then to the real “stars” of the evening, the models Marine 5517, Marine Chronographe 5527 and Marine Alarme Musicale 5547. The House introduced this third generation of the collection last year with the model Marine Équation Marchante 5887 which was rediscovered by the invitees at the event.
