A major Haute Horlogerie event held every two years, the Only Watch auction is a charity event organised by the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies.
This year, Breguet has opted for a unique version of its Marine Hora Mundi model, which combines technical sophistication with aesthetic appeal. It features a Breguet-patented mechanism – the only device that enables time zones to be changed with a single click. A technical feat made possible by the manipulation of the pusher and crown. After setting the first city, time and date, the wearer simply needs to set the second city. The mechanism then calculates the time and date using a clever system of cams, hammers and an integrated differential. Then, by simply pressing the pusher, you can move from one end of the planet to the other, without disrupting the precise operation of the watch.
This model will be auctioned at the November sale at Palexpo, Geneva.
