Breguet and Russia Celebrate the Reine de Naples Ballerina
Three ballet dancers are spinning on the Reine de Naples Ballerina’s dial, enhanced by a fine cameo work. This creation honors the ties between the House and Russia linking back to the time of Abraham-Louis Breguet, whose talent allowed him to count the leading figures of the country as clients.
This newest Reine de Naples creation was celebrated during an evening at the Mikhailovsky Theater in Saint Petersburg. In this emblematic location once visited by Tsars, the House invited his guests to a ballet performance leaded by a famous prima ballerina, who graciously joined guests after the show in appreciation of the two highlighted arts of the evening – classical dance and mechanical watchmaking.
