This model takes its inspiration from the 1,100 watches delivered to the French Air Force between 1955 and 1959 and whose name was written as Type 20 with Arabic numerals. Featuring a 42 mm case made of steel.
Its black dial has been modernised all while remaining faithful to the Type 20 identity. The Arabic numerals and the triangle present on the bezel are luminescent and feature a mint green hue, as do all the hands. The 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, is now larger than the 60-seconds counter displayed at 9 o’clock, while a date aperture has been added at 4:30.

The seconds display makes it possible to follow the passage of time with precision. Depending on the construction of the movement, it may take the form of a central seconds hand or an off-centred small seconds display, integrated into the architecture of the dial.
The chronograph makes it possible to measure short intervals of time with precision, independently of the time display. At Breguet, this complication is part of a pursuit of performance, legibility and mechanical reliability.
The calendar displays the date on the dial, generally by aperture, hand or disc. Simple in appearance, this indication requires precise integration both into the movement and into the balance of the dial.
Bevelling consists in chamfering and then polishing the edges of the movement components. This finish highlights the contours of the parts, catches the light and reveals the precision of the work devoted to the smallest details.
Stretching and dressing prepare or finish metal surfaces through the regular working of the material. These operations create clean, flat and even surfaces, essential both to visual quality and to assembly precision.
Perlage consists in applying small regular overlapping circles to the movement components. This decorative finish creates a luminous texture and highlights the care devoted to surfaces that are usually only scarcely visible.
The sunburst finish is a decorative finish composed of radiating lines extending from a central point. It animates the surface through circular reflections and brings relief to components or dials.
