Beneath its “Grand feu” enamel dial is an extra-flat automatic Tourbillon movement, visible through a sapphire caseback.

The information present on this watch has been deliberately reduced to the essentials, to draw attention towards the key element, the Tourbillon. Breguet has opted for a visual tourbillon bar angled by hand and topped by a spinel. Furthermore, the blue Breguet hands contrast against the white of the traditional enamel to ensure that the hours and minutes are perfectly legible. The hours chapter in Breguet Arabic numerals is off-centred at 11 o’clock, in opposition to the tourbillon at 5 o’clock. This way of displaying information recalls the pocket watches created by A.-L. Breguet, who revolutionised the aesthetic conventions of the timepieces of his epoch.
