This model, which displays a power reserve and moon phases, is a showcase for guilloché.
Variations in the guilloché motifs distinguish different areas of the dial, with three distinct patterns applied across the different indications. The time is indicated by the open-tipped Breguet hands and Roman numerals. On the technical side, the Classique 7137 features an extra-flat mechanical movement whose gold oscillating weight is hand-engraved on a rose engine.

Power reserve indicator
The power reserve indicator displays the remaining autonomy of the movement before it needs to be wound. It makes it possible to monitor the energy available in the barrel, while adding a direct mechanical reading to the dial.
Moon phase
The moon phase reproduces the progression of the lunar cycle on the dial. A complication that is both astronomical and decorative, it combines the reading of time with a poetic representation of the sky.
Calendar
The calendar displays the date on the dial, generally by aperture, hand or disc. Simple in appearance, this indication requires precise integration both into the movement and into the balance of the dial.
Bevelling
Bevelling consists in chamfering and then polishing the edges of the movement components. This finish highlights the contours of the parts, catches the light and reveals the precision of the work devoted to the smallest details.
Straight stripes
Straight stripes are a decorative finish formed of regular parallel bands on the movement components. They structure the surface, soften reflections and highlight the geometry of the bridges.
Guilloché

Perlage
Perlage consists in applying small regular overlapping circles to the movement components. This decorative finish creates a luminous texture and highlights the care devoted to surfaces that are usually only scarcely visible.
