The only piece by the Maison to have a frequency of 10 Hz and a magnetic pivot, the Classique Chronométrie is a watch that stands apart.
The exceptional operating results of this watch are made possible thanks to a frequency of 10 Hz, improving the timekeeping performances of the balance-spring. Thanks to the mastery of silicon, this model features a double balance spring, lever and escape wheel made from this material, which has been specially developed for this piece, allowing it to reach a high frequency and optimal precision. This watch also features another major innovation: the use of a magnetic pivot. Thanks to this principle, Breguet was not content to simply limit the negative effects of magnetism on a mechanical watch, but managed to master them by improving the pivoting, rotation and stability of the axis of the balance. These innovations ensure that model 7727 has an average accuracy of -1/+3 seconds per day, a result better than the COSC norms, which are -4/+6 seconds per day.

Seconds display
The seconds display makes it possible to follow the passage of time with precision. Depending on the construction of the movement, it may take the form of a central seconds hand or an off-centred small seconds display, integrated into the architecture of the dial.
Power reserve indicator
The power reserve indicator displays the remaining autonomy of the movement before it needs to be wound. It makes it possible to monitor the energy available in the barrel, while adding a direct mechanical reading to the dial.
Bevelling
Bevelling consists in chamfering and then polishing the edges of the movement components. This finish highlights the contours of the parts, catches the light and reveals the precision of the work devoted to the smallest details.
Straight stripes
Straight stripes are a decorative finish formed of regular parallel bands on the movement components. They structure the surface, soften reflections and highlight the geometry of the bridges.
Stretching / dressing
Stretching and dressing prepare or finish metal surfaces through the regular working of the material. These operations create clean, flat and even surfaces, essential both to visual quality and to assembly precision.
Guilloché
