Crafted in Breguet gold, this timepiece is equipped with the very first high-frequency (10 Hz) tourbillon with a magnetic escapement, delivering constant force to the balance wheel.
Combining a tourbillon, constant-force escapement and controlled magnetism, this architecture is designed to enhance stability and precision, earning the Expérimentale 1 certification by the Breguet hallmark in the Scientific category.

Ardillon

The seconds display makes it possible to follow the passage of time with precision. Depending on the construction of the movement, it may take the form of a central seconds hand or an off-centred small seconds display, integrated into the architecture of the dial.

Invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801, the tourbillon is designed to compensate for the effects of gravity on the regulating organ. By placing the escapement and the balance wheel in a mobile cage, it remains one of the House’s most emblematic complications.

Bevelling consists in chamfering and then polishing the edges of the movement components. This finish highlights the contours of the parts, catches the light and reveals the precision of the work devoted to the smallest details.

Stretching and dressing prepare or finish metal surfaces through the regular working of the material. These operations create clean, flat and even surfaces, essential both to visual quality and to assembly precision.

Microblasting consists in projecting fine beads onto a metal surface in order to obtain a matte, even and slightly textured finish. This finish softens reflections and enhances the contrasts with polished or satin-finished surfaces.

Mirror polishing consists in working the surface until a perfectly smooth and brilliant reflection is obtained. This finish requires great regularity in order to reveal the material without distorting the angles or volumes of the component.
