Created to mark the Maison’s 250th anniversary, Breguet gold is an 18K alloy with a warm, subtly rosy hue. Inspired by the gold used by 18th-century watchmakers, it combines heritage, innovation and contemporary standards.
An alloy developed by Breguet
Conceived and developed within the Maison’s workshops, 18K Breguet gold is composed of 75% gold, enriched with silver, copper and palladium. This composition gives it its characteristic radiance, as well as great stability over time. Resistant to discolouration, the alloy preserves the purity and elegance of its hue over the years.
A hue inspired by history
In the 18th century, watchmakers selected their gold alloys according to precise criteria of resistance, durability and aesthetics. A.-L. Breguet himself paid particular attention to the materials that contributed to the quality and prestige of his creations.
Breguet gold is part of this heritage. Its delicately rosy nuance evokes ancient golds while offering a contemporary expression specific to the Maison’s collections.
A heritage turned towards the future
Breguet gold embodies the Maison’s desire to bring its heritage to life without ever ceasing to reinvent it. Inspired by history, developed through contemporary knowledge and shaped by the savoir-faire of its artisans, it goes beyond established standards to open a new chapter in Breguet creation.
Unveiled to mark the Maison’s 250th anniversary, this alloy adorns an exceptional collection in which each piece reflects the same pursuit of precision, innovation and beauty.
