Characteristics of the Tradition collection

The Classique creations showcase the artisanal crafts so dear to Breguet, such as the hand-engraved dials on a rose engine at the Manufacture or “Grand feu” enamel using the traditional technique. Numerous models feature the timeless Breguet hands, designed by the master himself in 1783. Another heritage element is the secret signature that A.-L. Breguet originally perfected to fight against counterfeits of his creations, and which can be found on most of the Classique models. Although today there are other methods of ensuring the authenticity of a product, this signature remains a distinctive Breguet hallmark. Additionally, all the Classique models feature an entirely fluted case band with accompanying lugs for a flawless finish. Finally, whether self-winding or manually wound, each movement is meticulously hand-decorated by the Maison’s artisans.
