The history of the Tourbillon on display in Shanghai

On October 27, during a memorable event attended by VIP clients and the press, Breguet unveiled a temporary retrospective exhibition celebrating the 220th anniversary of the invention of the tourbillon by Abraham-Louis Breguet. Located in Shanghai's historic Waitanyuan Building No. 1, the exhibition featured a number of different spaces highlighting the world of the company.

First, a room was dedicated to a 360° immersive experience in which the history of the Tourbillon was revealed. The visit continued with the discovery of the new timepiece "Breguet Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Anniversaire 5365". A sober and elegant watch, reaffirming the codes of Breguet. The emblematic Tourbillon models from the various collections were also presented, as well as a timeline tracing the key dates of Breguet.

Finally, a "Watchmaker's Workshop" was set up. In this area, a watchmaker demonstrated the House's know-how through various demonstrations. The evening ended with a gala dinner in the Union Church. An imposing place of gothic style built in 1886 whose bell tower is located at 33 meters high.
