The part-exchange of Breguet by the Chaumet brothers and then by the financial company Investcorp galvanize the watchmaking House during a period which is favorable to evolutions. No longer able to respond to the increasing demand from the traditional markets or the emerging ones like Asia, Breguet decides to invest in new premises, still in the Vallée de Joux, proof of its trust in the future.
150 years would pass before the House of Breguet revived this jewel in its collection; a third generation of the Sympathique clock appeared in the early 1990s. Around 15 were produced, with the clock’s principal innovation being an ability to wind and reset a wristwatch.
