Breguet bolstered its presence at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta, GA by opening a Breguet Salon– the first boutique of its kind for the specialty retailer. A cocktail reception was held on the evening of May 7th at the new Breguet Salon. VIP guests were invited to a private inauguration evening, who received a first-hand look at Breguet’s newest novelties recently launched at Baselworld. In addition to these sneak peaks, guests also enjoyed learning about Breguet craftsmanship with a demonstration presented on a newly crafted Breguet Watchmaker’s Bench. Flown in from the Breguet Manufacture in Switzerland in time for this event, the bench is modeled after the original watchmaker’s desk used by A.-L. Breguet (1747-1823) at his famed workshop in Paris, France, dating back to 1775. This particular desk is exceptional as it is made of wood from the favorite oak tree of Queen Marie-Antoinette, one of Breguet’s most famous clients.
