On March 21st , 2016, at the 2016 Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Fair, the prestigious American watch magazine Haute Time officially awarded Marc A. Hayek – President & CEO of Breguet – the winning prize for the Haute Time “Watch Madness” 2015 competition. Selected as the best timepiece of 2015 among 64 watch brands, the Breguet Tradition Chronographe Indépendant has been honored for its truly ingenious mechanism that allows the movement and chronograph to operate independently.
On hand to present the award were co-publishers Seth Semilof and Kamal Hotchandani, and editors Roberta Naas and Pooja Agarwal.
