As a worthy inheritor of his father’s ingenuity, Antoine-Louis shows creativity, even boldness, to provide his timepieces with even more refined innovations. It is in that way that he commercializes in 1830, watches having a winding and a time setting system which does not require a key, the ancestor of the modern winder. Louis-Clément, on the other hand, wishes to give another chance to the sympathique clock, initially developed by his grandfather, without forgetting this time to register a patent.
