Breguet takes another significant step in preserving arts and culture worldwide with its latest sponsorship of “Precision and Splendor: Clocks and Watches at The Frick Collection.” in New York.

To mark this partnership, the Manufacture recently hosted an invitation-only gala for its patrons and friends of the brand. Guests were welcomed in the renowned New Yorker museum ‘The Frick Collection’, a magnificent early 20th century residence, situated in the elegance of the Upper East Side. To mark this occasion, the gathered guests discovered 300 years of fine watchmaking with an exquisite collection of watches and clocks dating from 1500 to 1800.

This striking exhibition allowed guests an extraordinary and privileged insight into the evolution of style and techniques of horology. Amongst elaborate dials and splendid craftwork, the exhibition highlights three historic timepieces by Abraham-Louis Breguet and his son Louis-Antoine—a double dial desk clock, a gold tourbillon pocket watch, and a gilt-bronze carriage clock.
