30/06/2014

From Tuesday, June 24 to Thursday, June 26, 2014, Breguet hosted three unique evenings in Bangkok, Thailand, to invite guests to discover the brand’s craftsmanship. The focus has particularly been on decorative dials through exclusive demonstrations of the art of cameo carving and engine-turning by hand. Introduced for the first time in 1786, engine-turned dials are among a long list of inventions developed by Abraham-Louis Breguet. More than 100 VIP invitees had the privilege to discover this ancestral decoration technique, still used nowadays  at the manufacture’s workshops to artfully transform its timepieces. All three evenings offered by Breguet to its guests have were followed by a dinner in a luxurious restaurant in the Thai capital.
