Case and decoration set with one briolette-cut diamond (0.27 cts) and 224 brilliant-cut TW/IF-VVS diamonds (3.31 cts). Dial paved with 211 diamonds (approx 0.63 cts), individually numbered and signed Breguet. Automatic-winding mechanical movement, cal. 586. Folding clasp set with 26 TW/IF-VVS diamonds (0.14 cts).

A.-L. Breguet was the first to discover, through his oscillating platinum-weight watch, a formula which would produce a reliable automatic watch. Breguet sold one of his first self-winding watches to Queen Marie-Antoinette.
